COMMUNITY WORK

Bringing people together through cooking, sharing and making good food more accessible.

Shoots & Leaves

More Than A Meal

Food has a way of bringing people together, opening up conversations and helping us feel connected. At Shoots & Leaves, our community work is a central part of what we do. Through partnerships with local organisations, we’ve taught cookery classes, fed hundreds of people and helped improve access to fresh, nourishing food. We bring the same care and enthusiasm to these projects as we do to our events, because everyone deserves food that tastes good and is prepared with thought. Whether we’re cooking alongside a group or serving a shared meal, we value the opportunity to meet people, exchange ideas and contribute to the community around us.

Cooking, Learning & Sharing

Cooking together creates opportunities to learn, build confidence and enjoy something made as a group. Our work with local partners gives people space to get involved, try different ingredients and share their own knowledge and experiences. We believe these moments matter just as much as the meal itself, creating connections that begin in the kitchen and continue around the table. Working with organisations that understand their communities helps us put our skills to practical use, supporting projects that respond to local needs. Good ingredients, creative ideas and a welcoming approach are at the heart of this work, and we’re always interested in conversations about how we can help.
